Welcome to the Crew Calendar Page!

This page is designed to keep you informed about project scheduling. Our mission is to complete your project with the utmost quality and efficiency—hence our motto: “Built Right. In Austin.” We understand your eagerness to see projects completed promptly.

To ensure fair scheduling, please review our guidelines:

  1. Deposit Requirement: A cleared deposit is necessary to schedule your project. For projects with multiple invoices, a deposit for all invoices is required.
  2. No Guaranteed Start or Finish Dates: While we aim for timely project completion, we cannot guarantee specific start or finish dates. Here are a few reasons for this:
    • Project Modifications: Customers sometimes request additions to existing projects, such as extending a fence or adding railing to a deck, which can impact scheduling.
    • Inclement Weather: We prioritize safety and cannot work in adverse weather conditions, especially when using power tools outside.
    • Non-linear Nature of Construction: Despite our careful planning and contingencies, unexpected issues can arise, such as hitting gas pipes or water mains.
    • Quality and Safety Over Speed: We take our time to ensure that every detail is done right and that safety is our top priority.
    • Dynamic Scheduling: Our schedule is constantly shifting due to these various factors, making it difficult to commit to specific start and end dates.
    • Supply Chain Delays: Availability of materials can fluctuate, impacting project timelines.
    • Permit Inspection Delays: Some projects require inspections that can lead to delays in obtaining necessary permits. (Read terms and conditions regarding permits)
    • Unexpected Site Conditions: Discovering unforeseen conditions at the job site may lead to changes in the project scope and timeline.
  3. Scheduling Order: Projects are completed in the order that deposits are received and materials are available. The scheduling table consists of the following groups:
    • Pre-planning: For projects awaiting deposit due to issues like permitting or engineering delays.
    • Material Pending: For projects that have received a deposit but are waiting for materials to be ordered or delivered.
    • Scheduled: Once a project has received a deposit and materials are ready in our warehouse, it is scheduled. We prioritize jobs on a first-come, first-served basis. We have only one house crew that can only be in one place at once. Occasionally, we leverage subcontractors to advance work.
    • Repairs or Touch-Ups: For those little mistakes we are cursed with committing as mere mortals, we address them by squeezing in repair dates into our busy schedule.
    • Completed: Finito!

Scheduling Summary: Once we receive a cleared deposit, we order materials right away. As soon as we can guarantee that those materials are available before a planned start date, we schedule the project. Projects are always done on a first-come, first-served basis. We aim to start and finish projects all at once, unless inspections are required or more materials are needed. If a project requires additional materials or an inspection, it will be paused until all necessary materials are provided or the inspection is complete. At the end of the day, we don’t want your money until the job is done and you are satisfied. We hope this guide helps!
